Privacy policy

Effective 16 September 2026

This policy covers random-scripts, personal automation tools operated by their account owner, and this informational website.

Data accessed and purpose

When authorized, the tools access Google account information needed for the selected routine. This can include the account email address, email sender and recipient headers, message dates, attachment metadata and content, authorized Drive files, and Apps Script project or deployment information.

The email attachment routine uses Gmail read-only access to identify matching messages and download the selected attachment. It does not send, modify, or delete email. Separate Apps Script routines may send owner-configured messages to their configured recipients.

Storage and retention

Downloaded files and generated documents are kept in the account owner’s private storage and may be synchronized or backed up using the owner’s configured services. Local authorization tokens are stored with restricted filesystem permissions. Google-hosted routines process data within the owner’s Google account and configured services.

Saved outputs remain until the owner deletes them. Temporary working files are removed after successful processing where the routine supports cleanup. Backups and synchronized copies follow the owner’s retention settings.

Sharing and assisted processing

Google user data is used only to carry out the selected routine. It is not sold, used for advertising, or published on this website. A routine that sends a document or message shares it only with its configured recipients.

If the owner asks an AI assistant to interpret a downloaded document, the document content may be processed by that assistant’s provider under the owner’s service settings and instructions. This is separate from visiting this website. Google user data is not used by these tools to develop or train generalized AI models.

Control and deletion

You can revoke the app’s Google access in Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not delete previously saved files. The account owner can delete local authorization files, downloaded documents, generated outputs, synchronized copies, and backups through the relevant storage tools.

Website visitors

This site has no analytics scripts, advertising, forms, or app-managed cookies. Hosting and network providers may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses, timestamps, and requested pages, to deliver and secure the website. The site does not receive OAuth tokens or private documents.

Google API data use

random-scripts’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Contact and changes

For support or privacy questions, contact the developer using the support address displayed on the app’s Google consent screen. Updates to this policy are published here with a revised effective date.
